SILENCE!
Crimson red, gravity falls
Shadows in darkness
Silence! She shouted,
All of darkness went silent.
She had no tears
No mouth, no eyes
No face, no genitals,
But she spoke.
All I wanted was peace
Heaven shattered in pieces
Death, death was fixed
Life had to go on
Seeds had to grow.
Melting white keys
The blacks, tones were burnt
At the valley where silence was born,
Where pregnant hope died,
The coffin walls suffocated her.
She bent over to hear me
Through Her starry dark dress,
I saw the moon
Swept away by the tranquil stream.
This had no voice,
But mouth, eyes
Genitals, face
It had tears.
I had a dream
Of grasping Orion in my fists
Laying on the clouds
Not singing, but
Speaking to God.
The guitar strings made no sound
Worse, it got buried in the sky
Notes, after notes, this man appeared
Bald with silver earings,
And seven facial piercings.
He had death in his eyes,
Carried the guitar to see Malvina
Waiting at the gate with ivy on her shoulder.
He screamed
"Christ! The angels of music tonight
Whisper to me, the sounds of silence."
This again, had no voice,
But mouth, eyes
Genitals, face
It had tears.
MALVINA PATRICK...
